Skanda Vale Hospice


	Welcome! Skanda Vale Hospice is situated between Carmarthen and Cardigan on the A484, in the village of Saron. Our central location puts us at the heart of the peaceful rural community of Carmarthenshire and Ceredigion. We currently offer a full respite care service, and can arrange for clinical care to be provided by visiting nurses or GP's. The hospice is open five days a week, usually from 9.30am until 4pm. Our policy is to be as patient-centred as possible in all matters, so opening hours can be flexible to suit the requirements of our visitors and their families. (We’ve even been known to open on weekends!) Latest news: Brother Francis and his sister Pip teamed up with a big bunch of friends to run the London 10k Run to raise money for the Hospice. IT'S NOT TOO LATE TO SPONSOR THEM!

	NEW FUNDRAISING PROJECT FOR 2010 We are currently raising funds to renovate and extend the nun’s accommodation. The nuns provide part of the core volunteer staff at the hospice and their current home is in urgent need of repair. We need to provide additional accommodation for nuns who would like to join Skanda Vale and work at the hospice. All donations made at our tea and gift stalls will contribute to this fund, until the team are rehoused. If you would like to know more, please don’t hesitate to drop us a line.
