Lymphoedema therapy. This therapy deals specifically with a swelling, caused by an impaired lymphatic system. Sometimes after cancer surgery or radiotherapy, limbs or other treated parts start to swell up, due to a damage of the lymphatic system.
The treatment consists of following components: skin care, external support/compression, gentle exercises and a special form of lymphatic drainage.
